Wheel / Hand-building Classes (Adults Only)
Wheel /hand-building classes are great for anyone who wants to expand their throwing skills, whether they are a beginner or advanced. The teacher will instruct at the level the student is at. Class fee does not include basic tool kit or clay. Both are sold at studio.
Beginner students will learn how to wedge, center, pull walls, trim, use a slab roller, extruder, molds and glaze. Projects typically include bowls, mugs, plates, trays and vases.
Experienced students can improve their skills. Projects may include tea pots, pitchers, plates, raku firing, and other advanced forms.
Fees are due on the first day of class.
Glazes stored in-house and kiln usage are included in tuition. Clay and tool kits are available for purchase. Students may want to bring other tools and a towel.
We will do our best to accommodate your schedule if you need to make up a class. Students may make up classes if space is available in another class. Please check with the studio manager before attending a make up class. All missed classes must be made up by the end of the following month (during a different class time).
Please call the studio in case of inclement weather for information regarding any weather related studio closing.
