We currently offer 3 types of classes that meet once per week and run in 6 or 8 week sessions. Our classes offer something for complete clay newbies, and experienced potters alike.
Our courses have also been designed to prepare students for membership by building the necessary skills, knowledge, and familiarity with our studio environment to work independently.

THE FIRST THROW
SIX WEEKS - BEGINNER WHEEL
Brand new to clay?
Or maybe you have some experience and just want more guidance?
This class is the perfect place to build confidence on the wheel!
Learn the full process of wheel throwing, from centering, to throwing, to trimming, to glazing. You'll be creating functional pottery in a supportive, hands-on environment.
No pressure, just progress!

THE NEXT SPIN
EIGHT WEEKS - INTERMEDIATE WHEEL THROWING
Join a community of growing potters in this deep dive into wheel throwing!
We'll cover specific, techniques each week, so get ready to challenge yourself with new forms and more advanced techniques. We'll focus on skill refinement, problem-solving, and creative exploration in a supportive group setting. Bring your questions, ideas, and a desire to learn alongside fellow enthusiasts. We'll discuss form, function, and artistic expression to help you discover your unique style.
This course is not for beginners, if you are comfortable centering and pulling 2+lbs of clay, know how to trim, and understand basic glazing, join us!

BARE HANDS BASICS
SIX WEEKS - BEGINNER HANDBUILDING
Ready to get your hands in some clay? Join us for a course designed for complete beginners with no prior experience.
Leave the wheel behind and discover the joy of creating with just your hands and a few simple tools. In this relaxing and rewarding class, you'll learn the foundational techniques of pinching, coiling, and slab building.
From creating your first pinch pot to assembling more complex forms, you'll build beautiful, functional pieces you can proudly display and use at home.
This is your chance to unwind, de-stress, and unleash your inner artisan in a supportive, friendly environment!
